 Player of the Week - Endrinha Sosa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Endrinha Sosa, a junior outside hitter for the Columbia College Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's volleyball for the week ending Oct. 14, 2001.  Sosa led the No. 1-ranked Cougars to a 4-0 record last week, averaging 3.7 kills and 3.4 digs per game. The Merida, Venezula native committed just six hitting errors and converted 60 percent of her attacks into kills. In addition, Sosa tallied nine assists and 11 blocks on the week.

Setter of the Week - Olga Correa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO -   Olga Correa, a 5-9 junior setter for the Columbia Cougar volleyball team, is the American Midwest Conference Setter of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2001. Correa totaled 156 assists in 13 games played, averaging 12.0 per contest. In addition, Correa, who hails from Medellin, Colombia, amassed 44 digs, 14 kills and eight service aces.
