Player of the Week - Endrina Sosa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Endrina Sosa, a freshman outside hitter for the Columbia College Cougars, is the AMC women's volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 18 through Oct. 24. Sosa helped keep the #1-ranked Cougars on their record-setting pace last week, logging 3.75 kills. Sosa totaled 21 attack attempts in Columbia's six games last week, 15 of which she converted to kills. In addition, the Merida, Venezuela native proved to be a defensive force for the Cougars as well, recording 3.25 digs and 0.5 blocks per outing.

Setter of the Week - Michelle Henry, William Woods University

Columbia, MO - Michelle Henry, the setter for the William Woods University Owls, is the AMC women's volleyball Setter of the Week for the week of Oct. 18 through Oct. 24. In WWU's lone game of the week versus AMC rival McKendree College, Henry totaled 49 assists in four games, for an average of 12.25 per game. In addition, she recorded 11 digs and four service aces.
Also nominated: Deng Yang, Columbia College; Jessica Evans, Missouri Baptist College.

Specialist of the Week -Jen Freund, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, MO - Jen Freund, a junior outside hitter for the Missouri Baptist College Spartans, is the AMC women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the week of Oct. 18 through Oct. 24. The junior from Eureka, Mo. led her team to a 5-1 record last week, recording a kill percentage of 35 percent and putting away 84 kills in 183 attempts. In 20 games, Freund averaged 4.0 kills and .55 blocks per game.
